10 mins walk to "Nishiki Ichiba Shopping Arcade" where is famous for Kyoto's kitchen. You will enjoy the atmosphere of the area and shopping around there.

Only 5 mins walk from Kurenai-An, you can reach to both of Hankyu and Subway station. The access is very good to Kyoto Station, Arashiyama area, and also many other sightseeing spots inside Kyoto.
Around Kurenai-An, even it is very close to one of the main station of Kyoto, is very quiet and easy to relax. Also, neighbors of Kurenai-an is very strict to noise, so if you woule like to have a quiet time after your sightseeing, Kurenai-An is one of the best house for your stay.
